Hand carved bowl
A neighbor shared the harvest from a felled cherry tree and I carved this bowl from half of a log. It’s approximately 8" by 3" and is just the right size for passing nuts, setting out candy, storing keys or other small items. The lower rim even make it usable as a spoon rest.
This next bowl, in approximately the same dimensions, is carved from a pittosporoum tenuifolium that I recovered from an arborist. Walnut oil finish.
